What data we collect and why
We only collect your email address, and only if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter. The purpose is to send you the y8y newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us.
Who processes the data
The newsletter is sent through Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC), acting as data processor and storing data on servers in the United States. That international transfer relies on EU-recognized safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell or share your email with third parties, and we use it for nothing other than the newsletter.
Retention and your rights
We keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed; when you unsubscribe, it is removed from the active list. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@y8y.ai. If you believe we mishandled your data, you can complain to your data-protection authority (in Spain, aepd.es).
Cookies and analytics
y8y.ai uses no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and the appropriate consent requested.
