What we will claim

That assistants recommend entities, so a property an assistant cannot identify is not competing badly, it is absent. That the signals which decide this are mostly ordinary and mostly within an operator's control: a consistent name, a stated category, a described location, review text that says something specific. That a property described only in English is missing from the answers given to questions asked in other languages.

What we will not claim

That AI search has replaced booking platforms, or will. That any figure exists for how much revenue an assistant sends a property: a guest sent by one arrives with no referrer, so nobody can honestly claim that number, ourselves included. That a preferred-source count or an "AI presence score" from any vendor is a measurement rather than an estimate. That any specific model is the best.
